Blue is a faerie who protects blueberries and their growers. She is one of my fruit faeries and stands 10 inches tall, but mostly sits on her little faerie chair when we see her. Otherwise, she magically flits about seeing to the blueberries and their growers.
I have included a photo of my group of five newest fruit-faerie-dolls.
Blue represents the wonders of blueberries in all their health benefits for all who eat them. She is a cloth doll with mache head and forearms.
Blue's little shoes are the leaves of the blueberry bush. They are painted-on.
The flowers in her hair are vintage millinery.
