SOLD - Fairy & The Lost Kitten, Mixed Media Paper Doll on Antique Book Board

As a doll maker, my fondness for paper dolls is strong. This is a paper doll, although not independent of her background; only in that she is indeed a cutout doll, but permanently affixed to the substrate which is an antique book board. It was the hard cover of an old book that fell apart. And this makes this piece a mixed-media collage.

Little Jane Paper Doll in a Standing Vignette Card

Little Jane is a paper doll that I designed many years ago. I drew her and then scanned her and finally chose to print her out onto card stock as a pencil drawing. I paint her in various colors using water color paint, and then I cut her out and create little places for her to be on exhibit. Therefore, she is a print, but also a painting and a cut out.  I now have 7 of her, in various dress colors, listed on my ETSY shop for sale. 

Paper Doll ~ Mademoiselle Rose

Mademoiselle Rose is a 13 inch tall firm paper mache doll permanently attached to her decorative wooden stand. She is made of chip board, mache and and then she is painted. She is now listed to sell on my Etsy store.

Paper Doll ~ In Love With Love

This little lady paper doll is a firm creation of chip board and paint. She is 10 inches tall. I have her permanently secured into a little wooden stand. She is now available on my Etsy store. One can see that she is deeply in love, for there is a heart on the book she is holding closely. I made her a little pink fence that she can either stand behind or not. Her stand is an embellished piece of wood.

Paper Doll ~ Angel on a Cloud

Now listed on my Etsy store is my one of a kind, 14 inch paper doll, Angel on a Cloud. I am of late enjoying the creating of my paper dolls that I actually create on a heavier substrate in the chip board family. I then paint the doll and attach it to a stand.
