Historic McLoughlin House and My Doll Hattie

My reproduction of a pre-Greiner doll, Hattie, now resides in the children's room in the beautiful, historic McLoughlin House in Oregon City, Oregon. The above picture is the same doll, but not seen in the museum, since we are not allowed to take pictures inside of the museum.

The pictures I have shown were procured via Google images. The house was built in 1845, and it is a half a block away from my house.

Just had to share!

  1. How wonderful! (And she is close enough so you can visit her once in a while!)

I think she will enjoy her new environment very much.

  2. Christine,

What a lovely old house. Your beautiful doll fits right in. Hope she will invite you over for tea sometime or maybe some refreshing lemonade. You could sit under the shade of a tree in the yard and chat, and giggle and have such fun!

  6. How exciting! We took a tour of the McLoughlin House a few years ago and I'm sure Miss Hattie is enjoying her new residence. That is so wonderful!
