Some of My Slip-Ins
My Slip-INs
Just a note to say that my slip-ins only stand about three to six inches tall. They look very large in the article. These are what they referred to as Paper Dolls in the article Passion for Paper Dolls.

Many of you know me as Zwee with many exclamation points following. These indicate extreme joy.
My parents wanted to name me Zöe, but felt that the actual French pronunciation of Zwee would never be acknowledged, and it would have been Americanized into Zoey. Well! I believe that Zwee does exist within my alter-ego and so that is in part, who I am. But I still like to be Christine too.
The 18th and 19th centuries intrigue me from an escape aspect, and so I surround myself with a home that reflects the beauty of these earlier times. In fact, our house was built in 1888. And yes, that is not early, since officially, "early" is defined as being prior to 1850, but for Oregon, it is worthy.
I do love now, each and every moment. I love the ease of life with all that modernity affords. Combine the ambiance of olden days with the luxury of today and all is perfect. My dolls and other art forms must reflect the earlier days.
Of late I am thoroughly enamored of the new Jeanne de Arc Living style, although I do not opt for the all white for my lovely old house.
I dabble in garden witchery as in herbs and magickal plants for creating wonderful spells of love and health.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I wish you a beautiful life.
