#31!
It is an honor to announce that Country Living magazine invited me to be the 31st member of their Country Living Guild which is known for "honoring American artisans and craftsmanship". Read about me in the brand new, February, 2009 issue on pages 47 and 49. I am thoroughly delighted. For I have been chosen to be their first and only doll maker to be included in this guild.
Zwee...i can not wait to read it!!!

ReplyDeleteMy sister called to tell me about this article, described the dolls but couldn't remember the name of the artist, and I said...'I bet it's Christine LeFever', to which she realized I was right. I went right out and got the magazine! Congratulations, what a wonderful honor!
ReplyDeleteHello, Janice Selby, alas I couldn't get ahold of you at your blog and as there is no email address...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, thank you with all my heart for your generous and kind comment!
I'm so delighted that you have children in Portland. You MUST visit me when you visit them.
Christine ~ Zwee!!!!!!!
HI Thanks for the birthday wishes!!! Yes this is my very last birthday, I am not having any more!!
ReplyDeleteMy cat (Jethro) is named after Beverly Hillbillies Jethro, he is really Jethro #2, I had #1 but he passes on... My son insisted on having another. This Jethro is so much more "different" I just love him. He is dumb as a stump sometimes, well most all the time, but is the best snuggler a girl could ask for!
That bird feeder I got is really neat except I opened the window to take that picture of my son on the deck last night and I knocked it off because I opened the window too far, so I broke the cat teaser, I am going to go get another though because I liked it and Jethro did too.
Nice to "meet" you, I love your dolls, you do a most fabulous job.
Hi Christine...I just got my copy...Oh, it is such a great picture of you and your dolls...Love the crown!
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your question from Celsius to Fahrenheit...+16C converts to 60.8F...so that's pretty mild for this time of year here in Calgary.
Thank-you for visiting!
Have a great week!
Hugs, Nancy
