Little Jane, Emma and Faith

This is Little Jane who is standing in her little garden house.
Little Jane is a tiny water color paper doll.

This is Emma, my original old milliner's model who loves sitting in this beautiful shelf by Linda Marcov of Willow Nest Farm.

Here is Faith, an old doll who sits in the dining room holding her warn little dog. Little Dog was created by the fabulous Jennifer Schneeman. I procured both Faith and Little Dog from the Waynesville, Ohio shop Olde Glory Antiques.

Jane is so sweet! Thank you for sharing your wonderful treasures....is that part of a theorem I see behind Faith's shoulder? Off to explore the links!

Yes, Suzanne, it is a theorem, and I am proud to say, one that I did way back in the early 1980's. Thank you for noticing it!

Jane and her Garden house are adorable Zwee! What a sweet way to display her.
And you know I love your milliner!
Is the other doll a greiner? She is very pretty too!
Nan (who is still trying to get through that pdf!!!!)

Susan, she is indeed one of my creations, with more on the way, as Little Jane will be showing up here there hither and yon. Thank you!

Nancy, Faith is not a Greiner. She is simply an old mache` head from probably the 1880's.

And thank you for your lovely comment about Little Jane!

Such beautiful little dolls. I love the old dolls. I have a special one that I need to make 'new' clothing for. Hers is falling apart in shreds. I have some antique silk (given by a friend) and now just need some old cotton and edging for her undergarments.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and for leaving your sweet comments. I will be back here again soon to see what you have to share. It's a fun place to come.

Oh Christine~ Little Jane is Enchanting! Does she have other room boxes to grace with her presence??? Or mabey a garden box, filled with a garden of quilled paper flowers~ I LOVE her!

Christine LeFever said...

There's an idea, Rachael. I thank you!

I need to do more for her garden house. She has a quilled chandelier, of sorts, ahem, and as I so enjoy quilling, perhaps a few quilled flowers will be just the finishing touch before she heads off to Flourishes in March.

You're always bursting with marvelous and very original ideas, dearest Rachael.
